Students are required to complete the following:
- 5 theoretical assignments
- 6 practical assignments
- 5 workplace assignments
Upon completion of this course, students will be awarded an Occupational Certificate: Security Officer from the QCTO.

This qualification articulates horizontally and vertically with the following qualification:
- National Certificate: General Security Practices, Level 3.
