The purpose of this qualification is to prepare the learner to operate as a real estate agent. A real estate agent guides and facilitates the public in buying, selling, letting, financing, and managing immovable property and businesses in the best interest of all parties.
A qualified learner will be able to:
- Identify the property and real estate environment and ensure compliance with the legislative and regulatory framework.
- Apply the Code of Conduct and adhere to ethical business principles.
- Develop relationships with an internal and external client database for the provision of property and real estate services.
- Build a brand reputation and develop a target market.
- Manage the property and real estate function.

6 Work Experience Modules (75 Credits):
- Procedures to Identify the Property and Real Estate Environment and Comply with Legislative and Regulatory Framework
- Processes and Procedures for Applying the Code of Conduct and Adhering to Ethical Business Principles
- Procedures to Build Internal and / or External Client Relationships and Databases
- Procedures to Provide Strategic and Operational Consulting Service
- Practices to Manage the Property and Real Estate Function
- Process to Apply Financial Business Principles
Students are required to complete the following:
- 2 x Formative Assessments per knowledge module
- 1 x Summative Assessment per knowledge module
- 1 x Practical Summative Assessment per module
- 1 x Workplace Assessment per module
- 1 x Integrated External Summative Assessment (EISA)
You will receive an Occupational Certificate: Real Estate Agent from the QCTO after completion of the External Integrated Summative Assessment.
