The Nated N4-N6 Engineering qualification provides the theoretical component for obtaining a National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. The practical consists of 24 months of work experience relevant to your specific trade.

- Mathematics N5
- Mechanical Drawing and Design N5
- Strength of Materials and Structure N5
- Mechano Technics N5
- Fluid Mechanics N5
- Power Machines N5
Students are required to complete the following:
- 3 assignments per subject (passmark 50%)
- 1 exam per subject
Upon completion of this course, students will be awarded a Certificate of Achievement: N5 Mechanical Engineering from the DHET.
N courses are offered and assessed by Oxbridge Academy. After gaining a qualifying year mark, students will be admitted to write the national examination at an approved venue. Read our N4-N6 Exam letter for information on writing the exams.
